Program Structure: Our apprenticeship program is structured to offer a blend of theoretical learning and practical application, ensuring apprentices develop a deep understanding of massage therapy principles along with proficient hands-on skills. The program encompasses the following key components:

1. Theoretical Modules:
   • Anatomy and Physiology: Comprehensive study of human anatomy and physiology, focusing on musculoskeletal, circulatory, nervous, and other relevant systems.
   • Massage Techniques: Introduction to various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, aromatherapy, and more.
   • Pathology and Contraindications: Understanding common pathologies, contraindications, and precautions associated with massage therapy.
2. Practical Training:
   • Hands-on Practice: Apprentices will have the opportunity to practice massage techniques under the supervision of experienced therapists, gaining confidence and proficiency.

Program Duration: The duration of the apprenticeship program is 12 months.  This timeline is designed to provide comprehensive training while allowing for flexibility based on individual progress.

Requirements:

• Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good moral character and commitment to learning.
• Good interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to commit to the required hours of training and practice sessions.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the program, apprentices will receive a certificate of completion, acknowledging their proficiency in massage therapy techniques and theoretical knowledge.  They will then be required to pass the Mblex exam or The National Board Certification exam which are the required testings and certifications to legally practice Massage therapy and bodywork.
